Well-established fabrication company in Houma now looking to hire experienced FITTERS!!
Job duties include:
- Fabricate, position, align, and fit parts of structural metal products
- Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications, using squares, rulers, and measuring tapes.
- Align and fit parts according to specifications, using jacks, turnbuckles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars, and hammers.
- Move parts into position, manually or with hoists or cranes.
- Must have prior fitting experience
- Must be able to pass a fitting test
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to meet pre-employment requirements (drug screen, physical, background check)
