We are seeking a reliable and hardworking HVAC Helper to assist experienced HVAC technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in the HVAC industry through on-the-job training.
Assist in the installation of HVAC systems (ductwork, piping, units, thermostats, etc.)
Carry and organize tools, materials, and equipment on job sites
Support technicians in diagnosing and repairing HVAC system issues
Clean and prepare work areas before and after installations or repairs
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter changes and coil cleaning
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe job site
Load and unload equipment and supplies
Communicate effectively with team members and customers
Complete tasks as directed by lead technicians or supervisors
High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
