A Line Technician at a heliport is responsible for the ground handling, servicing, and safety of helicopters and associated operations. Job description:


Job Title: Line Technician (Heliport Operations)

Job Summary:

The Line Technician ensures safe, efficient, and professional support for all helicopter ground operations. This includes fueling, towing, parking, cleaning, and conducting pre- and post-flight services. The technician interacts with pilots, maintenance crews, and passengers to provide high-quality customer service and operational support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Aircraft Ground Handling: Assist with arrival, departure, and movement of helicopters on the ground using hand signals, tow equipment, or tugs.

  • Fueling Operations: Safely fuel helicopters, monitor fuel quality, and follow appropriate safety and environmental procedures.

  • Safety and Security: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to heliport and aviation safety protocols.

  • Inspections and Maintenance Support: Perform basic inspections (e.g., FOD checks, oil levels) and assist maintenance crews as needed.

  • Customer Service: Greet and assist pilots, passengers, and crews. Provide ground transportation, luggage handling, and other concierge services.

  • Heliport Facilities Maintenance: Keep ramp, hangar, and support areas clean and operational. Report and resolve minor equipment or facility issues.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate logs for fueling, inspections, and other services.

  • Emergency Readiness: Be trained and prepared to respond to emergencies such as fire, medical situations, or aircraft incidents.

Job Requirements

SCHEDULING :

There will be a 5/2 and a 7/7 schedule.

The 7 on and 7 off schedule is 4am - 4pm. Thursday - Wednesday.

The 5 on and 2 off schedule is 4am - 12pm. Monday - Friday.
