Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technician to join our medical imaging team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records of imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to capture detailed images of patients' internal structures.
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions.
• Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Review and evaluate images for clarity and quality, referring any questionable results to radiologists.
• Maintain accurate records of all imaging procedures and patient interactions.
• Clean and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient diagnoses.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards in the performance of duties.

Working Conditions:

The MRI Technician will work in a clinical environment with regular exposure to magnetic fields and other medical imaging equipment. The position may require standing for extended periods and lifting or positioning patients.

Qualifications:

• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technician.
