An esteemed machine shop located in the Houma area is currently seeking to recruit shop hands who will be provided with comprehensive training to transition into a machining role. As a shop hand, you will initially support the existing machinists and managers by assisting with various tasks, all while receiving hands-on training on operating CNC and manual machines.
Other task include cleaning and organizing the shop, moving materials, assisting technicians, and performing basic maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
