We are seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Commercial Account Representative to join our growing insurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, ensuring their coverage needs are met with professionalism and care. You’ll play a key role in building long-term relationships, assisting with renewals, and supporting the sales and underwriting process.
Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
Provide outstanding day-to-day service, including responding to client inquiries, processing policy changes, and handling certificates of insurance.
Assist in gathering underwriting information and preparing quotes for new and renewal policies.
Review policy documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate renewals, endorsements, and claims support with clients and carriers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal sales teams.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the agency management system (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic).
Identify coverage gaps and recommend solutions to protect the client’s business.
Support producers in developing new business opportunities and cross-selling.
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in commercial insurance or related customer service role.
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages (e.g., general liability, workers’ compensation, commercial auto, property).
Proficiency with insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
