§ Providing crisis intervention and advocacy to survivors of domestic violence, including emotional support and legal assistance. § Coordinating support services such as safety planning, transportation, and referrals to other resources. § Facilitating support groups and workshops to empower survivors and promote community awareness. § Documenting services provided and maintaining confidentiality while adhering to ethical guidelines. § Collaborating with law enforcement and community agencies to ensure comprehensive support for survivors.
Location:
§ Housed in Houma outreach office.
§ Requires occasional travel to Thibodaux office.
Qualifications:
§ Must pass in-depth background checks to include State and Federal criminal history and employment history.
§ Valid driver’s license and operational, registered and insured vehicle.
§ Degree in social services, human development and family studies, education or community health services or related field preferred.
§ Position requires on-call for 21 days per year (additional compensation is provided for on-call time
