The Accounting Assistant provides support to the controller by performing day-to-day financial tasks, including generating invoices, processing transactions, maintaining records, and assisting with reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Prepare customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Track and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
Enter financial data into accounting software and maintain updated records
Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and financial reports
Support monthly and year-end financial close processes
Provide general administrative and clerical support to the accounting department
High school diploma or equivalent required
1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or invoicing experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills
Good written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
