Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of our company's financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with bookkeeping software. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage all general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
  • Prepare and process payroll, including tax withholdings and benefits.
  • Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for management.
  • Manage and track company expenses and budgets.
  • Assist with tax preparation and liaise with external accountants during audits.
  • Handle financial data entry and maintain filing systems for financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Preferred:

  • Experience with payroll processing and tax filing.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices.
