Job Description

Highly regarded towing & offshore transportation company in the Amelia area NOW HIRING for an EXPERIENCED BOOKKEEPER!! Great opportunity with a company that has been in business for 30+ years!! 



  • Preparing customer invoices
  • Receiving payments
  • Preparing settlement disbursements
  • Collecting on past due accounts
  • Remit payroll taxes, sales taxes, use taxes, and income taxes
  • Bank and Credit Card reconciliations
  • Coordinate with purchasing and receiving departments
  • Maintaining Human Resource compliance and records
  • Updating and maintaining records in management and customer’s database
  • Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounting records
  • May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers

Job Requirements


  • Must have prior bookkeeping experience.
  • Experience working in QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Must be detail and deadline-oriented.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and with a team.
