Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and dedicated housekeeper to join our team. The primary role of the janitor will be to ensure our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and up to standard. The successful candidate will perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness. We have positions available in Houma and Raceland!

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.).
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as needed.
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a housekeeper or similar role.
• Ability to handle heavy cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Integrity and ability to work independently.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motion for extended periods.
