Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our construction projects by providing administrative and clerical assistance. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess strong communication skills to ensure smooth operations on-site.

Duties

  • Assist with project documentation, including proofreading and editing reports and plans.
  • Manage calendars for project meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and prepared.
  • Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining project records.
  • Serve as a point of contact for team members, utilizing phone systems and email communication effectively.
  • Support the medical receptionist duties when necessary, ensuring compliance with safety protocols on-site.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations to support project needs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Facilitate RFIs, change orders, submittals, etc.

Skills

  • Strong proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in documentation.
  • Proficient in clerical tasks with attention to detail.
  • Experience as a medical receptionist is advantageous but not required.
  • High level of computer literacy, particularly with QuickBooks and Excel
  • Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Strong calendar management skills to coordinate meetings efficiently.
  • Ability to type quickly and accurately for documentation purposes.
  • Familiarity with phone systems to manage communications effectively.
  • Bilingual candidates who speak Spanish are encouraged to apply.
