Position Summary:
As a Project Estimator, you will play a critical role in the planning and execution of our construction projects. You’ll be responsible for gathering pricing, working on quotes, and maintaining contact with suppliers and vendors. You’ll also spend time in the field, checking in with foremen and ensuring project estimates align with real-time progress and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact suppliers and vendors to obtain up-to-date pricing on materials and services
• Develop and prepare accurate, detailed project cost estimates
• Work on quotes and bids for current and upcoming projects
• Collaborate closely with project managers and foremen to ensure estimates match field conditions
• Visit job sites regularly to evaluate progress and gather necessary information
• Maintain organized records of quotes, pricing, and communications with suppliers
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors
• Assist with scheduling and project planning as needed

Schedule:

8am-5pm, Monday-Friday

• Previous experience in construction estimating (commercial, road/highway preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry pricing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in both office and field environments
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, or similar)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
