Local Houma office hiring full time temporary payroll administrator!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following:

• Payroll processing for bi-weekly and semi-monthly employees across the United States
• Processing of ACH payment.
• Gathers, audits, and calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions.
• Maintains and processes employee records such as, but not limited to; new hires, transfers, compensation changes, terminations, leave of absence to ensure timely and accurate payment.
• Coordinating with the HR & Benefits department on employee data.
• Providing daily administrative assistance.
• Resolving issues with employees on pay discrepancies and other payrolls matters.
• Monthly/Quarterly reconciliation and reporting of earnings and deductions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/ Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in an office environment or customer service industry.

Language Skills

• Must possess strong verbal and written communication with employees, management, and administrative staff.

Computer Skills

• Must be able to use a Windows-based personal computer.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.
• Must be able to understand and use a 10 key calculator.

Other Technical Skills

• Must be organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Must be able to critically evaluate and problem solve daily circumstances.
• Must possess strong skills in mathematics.
• Must be able to multi-task under intense pressure to meet deadlines.
• Must possess strong time management skills.
