A Welder is responsible for joining metal parts using various welding techniques to fabricate or repair metal structures and components. This role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
Welding Operations: Perform welding tasks using techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, and oxy-fuel welding to join metal components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
Quality Assurance: Inspect welds for accuracy, alignment, and quality using measuring tools, gauges, and visual inspection techniques.
Experience: At least 2–3 years of experience in welding, with a focus on specific industries like construction, automotive, or manufacturing.
Certifications: Certifications from recognized organizations, such as the American Welding Society (AWS), are highly desirable.
