Position Overview

Company is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting with accounts payable functions, processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the accounting department.

We are looking for a candidate who can work a minimum of 24 hours per week, with the majority of hours worked on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are flexible regarding the remaining workdays and hours and are willing to work with the right candidate's schedule.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation
• Prepare and process payments to vendors
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized accounts payable files and records
• Assist with month-end closing activities as needed
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting department

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with accounting software is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Schedule

• Part-Time
• Minimum of 24 hours per week
• Availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays is required
• Flexible scheduling available for remaining work hours
