Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods, including hazardous materials, in compliance with DOT regulations.
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
Handle, secure, and transport hazardous materials in accordance with federal, state, and company safety standards.
Assist in warehouse operations including receiving, staging, stocking, and inventory control.
Maintain accurate logs, delivery paperwork, and compliance records.
Ensure safe operation of warehouse equipment and adherence to company safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat (H) endorsement preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience with a clean driving record.
Forklift certification and hands-on warehouse experience required.
Strong understanding of DOT regulations, Hazmat handling, and load securement.
Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Work Environment:
Driving long and short hauls in varying traffic and weather conditions.
Warehouse environment with exposure to heavy equipment and materials.
Combination of physical labor and vehicle operation.
