Advocacy and Support: Provides support and advocacy for individuals and families, particularly those experiencing homelessness due to domestic or sexual violence. § Housing Assistance: Assists clients in identifying and securing affordable, stable housing, and helps them navigate housing programs. § Crisis Intervention: Offers crisis intervention and safety planning for clients in need. § Data Management: Responsible for accurate data collection and reporting for evaluation and funding purposes. § Budget Management: Coordinates housing stability advocacy and manages budgets related to client assistance funds.
Location:
§ Housed in Thibodaux office
§ Requires travel between Terrebonne and Lafourche offices multiple times per week.
Qualifications:
§ Must pass in-depth background checks to include State and Federal criminal history and employment history.
§ Valid driver’s license and operational, registered and insured vehicle.
§ Degree in social services, human development and family studies, education or community health services or related field preferred.
§ Position requires on-call for 21 days per year (additional compensation is provided for on-call time) & schedule is 3pm - 11pm.
