Position Overview:

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Manual and CNC Machinists to join our team. In this role, you will operate and set up both manual and CNC lathe and mill machines to manufacture precision parts and components for a variety of industries. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both types of machinery, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CNC Machining:
    • Set up and operate CNC lathe and milling machines to produce parts based on blueprints, drawings, or digital models.
    • Program CNC machines using G-code and ensure programs are optimized for machine performance.
    • Conduct test runs to ensure correct operation and quality standards.
    • Monitor machine performance, adjust settings as needed, and troubleshoot issues that may arise.
  • Manual Machining:
    • Operate manual lathes, mills, and other machine tools to cut, shape, and finish parts.
    • Set up and calibrate equipment manually, ensuring precision and high standards are maintained throughout the production process.
    • Perform tasks such as turning, drilling, boring, and tapping according to specifications.
  • Blueprint Reading & Technical Skills:
    • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files to understand part specifications.
    • Use measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, etc.) to ensure parts meet required tolerances and quality standards.
  • Maintenance & Quality Control:
    • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines to ensure longevity and precision.
    • Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
    • Identify and resolve issues with parts, tools, or machinery that could affect production.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

 

 

Job Requirements

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • Proven experience working with CNC and manual lathe and milling machines.
    • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and material properties.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines (Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, etc.).
    • Experience with manual machining, including setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files.
  • Tools & Equipment:

    • Familiarity with precision measuring tools, gauges, and instruments.
    • Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Education:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Vocational training or certifications in machining or related fields preferred.
