Job Summary
Looking for experienced Material Handlers to work in a manufacturing environment who will be responsible for moving, storing, and managing materials to keep the production process operating efficiently. This role involves receiving and inspecting incoming goods, organizing stock, transporting materials throughout the facility, and preparing finished products for shipment. Strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and safe operation of material-handling equipment are essential.
Receiving & Storing Materials
Unload and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy, damage, and quality.
Verify quantities and document materials received.
Store materials in designated areas using proper organization methods.
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate records of materials and inventory levels.
Perform regular cycle counts and ensure proper labeling and tracking of inventory.
Identify shortages or discrepancies and report them promptly.
Material Transport
Move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other equipment.
Ensure materials are transported safely to designated areas.
Production Support
Pick, stage, and deliver materials according to production orders.
Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of material requests to support workflow.
Shipping Preparation
Prepare outgoing goods by packing, wrapping, crating, and labeling materials.
Load finished products onto trucks or transport vehicles.
Safety & Maintenance
Follow all company safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification preferred).
Strong attention to detail for accurate inventory tracking and safe handling of materials.
Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with production, shipping, and warehouse staff.
Basic math and computer skills for inventory counts, data entry, and record-keeping.
Problem-solving skills to identify damaged goods, shortages, or workflow issues.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Shifts we hire for include the following:
1st shift: Monday- Friday 6:00am-2:00pm (Some Saturdays will be required)
2nd shift: Monday- Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm (Some Saturdays will be required)
3rd shift: Sunday- Thursday 10:00pm-6:00am (Some Fridays will be required)
