Job Summary:
Assist welders with daily tasks including preparing materials, setting up equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Support welding operations by handling tools, moving metal parts, and performing basic grinding or cutting under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare materials and tools for welding jobs

• Assist in positioning and holding parts during welding

• Operate basic tools like grinders, saws, and torches

• Clean welds, tools, and work area

• Follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Basic knowledge of hand tools and measuring equipment

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods

• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks

• Prior construction or industrial experience is a plus
