Job Description

Teaching Assistant – Safety Training

The Teaching Assistant supports the Safety Instructor in the delivery of training programs focused on workplace safety, including oil & gas operations, water safety, and OSHA/HAZWOPER compliance. Responsibilities include setting up training materials and equipment, assisting with demonstrations and hands-on exercises, managing attendance records, and providing support to trainees during sessions. The Teaching Assistant also helps maintain a safe and organized training environment and ensures that course content runs smoothly. 

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Proficient in treading water
  • Prior lifeguard experience is a plus
