Job Title: Warehouse Production Worker
Summary
The Warehouse Production Worker supports daily warehouse operations with a primary focus on operating and maintaining the baler machine. This role ensures materials are properly processed, compacted, and prepared for recycling or disposal, while contributing to overall warehouse efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the baler machine to compact cardboard and other materials.
- Safely load, unload, and stage materials for baling and removal.
- Perform routine inspections on the baler to ensure proper operation, promptly reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area around the baler and throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including loading/unloading trucks, moving materials, and stocking inventory.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols when servicing equipment.
- Accurately record processed materials and maintain required documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to help meet production and warehouse goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior warehouse or machine operation experience is a plus; baler experience highly preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
- Frequent standing, bending, and reaching in a warehouse environment.
- Comfortable working around machinery and in varying temperatures.
Schedule & Pay
- Day shift
- $14.00 per hour
- Paid weekly
- Overtime available as needed
